Newzix
Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. Below we describe, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you read Newzix.
In short
- No account and no sign-up: you can read everything anonymously.
- We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
- We use only the cookies needed to remember your settings.
01Who we are
Newzix runs newzix.org and is responsible for the information collected through it. The policy applies whenever you browse the site, on any device.
02Data we process
We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. The information we handle is technical and comes from your browser:
04Social media embeds
Some pages include posts from X (Twitter) or other platforms. When such content loads, the platform can receive your IP address and set its own cookies, just as if you visited it directly. Their privacy policies apply.
05Purpose and legal basis
Nothing we process is used for marketing or profiling. Logs exist so the site can run and stay protected; settings exist so it behaves the way you asked.
07How long we keep data
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. Preference settings stay in your browser until they expire or you remove them.
08Your rights
Under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA you can ask what personal data is processed about you, request its deletion or restrict its use. In practice, Newzix keeps no accounts or reader profiles, so there is rarely anything linked to you personally.
09Children
Our content is written for adults, and we do not target minors or knowingly collect information about them.
10Keeping data safe
All traffic between your browser and newzix.org is encrypted. We use established infrastructure providers and limit access to technical data to those who need it.
11Policy changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page. The version published here is always the current one.
